Backstabbers

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I knew it, I knew Marry Warren was a sniveling no good coward! I mean, how dare she after all we've been through! We have everyone wrapped around our fingers, we can't go ruining this now. And Danforth! How could such a man ever believe false accusations such as these? For all he knows John's intentions could be much more wild than saving his wife! Thankfully though Mary Warren came to her senses before her time ran out. It was almost amusing to watch her crawl back while whining, "No, I love God; I go your way no more. I love God, I bless God. Abby, Abby, I'll never hurt you more!" (Miller 119). And out of my "infinite charity" I accepted the apology. After all, her cover was most convincing...blaming John Proctor.

Oh poor John...why must he be so foolish? Why does he pretend to love that evil woman? Goody Proctor deserves every ounce of punishment inflicted upon her! But John, oh John...I think he may have went over the deep end and took Reverend Hale with him. It gave me quite the shock when he yelled "...God damns our kind especially, and we will burn, we will burn together!" (Miller 120). And Reverend Hale, though I admit I never liked him, has given up on this court...but wherever he may have fled, I hope God has mercy on his soul.

With luck though, all this nonsense will come to an end. We can be a happy town where no witches dare cast their spirits upon the weak and defenseless. But until then, I will do everything in my power to weed out the Devil worshipers and send them to die at the hands of justice! God's light will shine upon Salem again! "I'll not hang with you! I love God, I love God." (Miller 118).

  1. Abby, you manipulate people to get what you want and that is exactly what you did to poor Mary. She never would have come back to all your fake witch stories if you had just not accused her of being a witch herself.
